Project A Dolby Atmos Mix and AI-Assisted Music Restoration Using Suno AI

Arirang 1926: Sonic Restoration Project is a sound-focused restoration and reinterpretation of Arirang, one of the most important films in Korean cinema history.

The original 1926 silent film was lost during the Korean War, so this project uses Lee Doo-yong’s 2003 remake as the visual source. I created the music with Suno AI, referencing surviving period recordings, and restored the Korean silent-film byeonsa narration using Waves ReGen.

The project was mixed in Dolby Atmos, with a separate 2.0 Direct version rendered for YouTube.
